It all started when…
… five teenage friends in a suburban Maryland Montessori school decided to form an all-girl band. Led by by the skillful and soulful sounds of lead vocalist, Reyna, the oldest member, SHE began putting together a sound that is both unique and intriguing. With only a cajon providing the all important backbeat at the hands of Kaili, the younger sister of Kaylyn, who plays keyboards and bass keys, SHE’s sound is so much larger than one might expect. Classical guitarist, Leilani, adds a unique layer of color with her unique finger-picking style while Amaya keeps the beats fresh and interesting providing various acoustic and electronic percussive elements.
